Parathyroid Care

Our Providers are qualified to provide complete parathyroid care.

If high calcium is found on your blood test. You will often be referred to an Endocrinologist for further evaluation. We will check for all causes of high blood calcium and determine if your Parathyroid is functioning abnormally. Too much Parathyroid hormone causes a high calcium level which can lead to health problems such as bone thinning and kidney stones. In certain instances, you will need to surgically remove the abnormal parathyroid gland.
You may be found to have a low blood calcium level, mainly after neck surgery.  A low blood calcium level can cause severe muscle cramps and other problems. Our Providers are experienced in helping you to maintain a balanced calcium level.
