If you’ve had gastric bypass surgery and now experience low blood sugar, you may qualify for a PBH clinical trial now enrolling in Port Charlotte, Florida. This study, known as the LUCIDITY clinical trial, is researching a new option for post-bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH).

PBH Clinical Trial Eligibility

To take part in the study, you must meet several requirements. You may qualify if you:

  • Had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery at least 12 months ago
  • Have been diagnosed with post-bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH)

  • Have a BMI of 40 or less and stable weight for the past 2 months
  • Are willing to follow diet and activity guidance throughout the study
